Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at King of Prussia Nursing & Rehab. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nutrition care to our residents, ensuring their nutritional needs are met and their health outcomes are optimized.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans of care for residents, taking into account their medical history, dietary needs, and preferences.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor residents' nutritional status and adjust plans as needed.
  • Provide education and counseling to residents, families, and caregivers on healthy eating habits, nutrition, and meal planning.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, guidelines, and best practices in nutrition and dietetics.
Requirements:
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a geriatric population.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
