**About the Opportunity**

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at Summit Medical Group in the Chattanooga area.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct thorough physical exams, gather medical histories, and document findings.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, charts, and other relevant information.
  • Order necessary laboratory and diagnostic procedures.
  • Determine preliminary diagnoses and treatment plans based on gathered data.
  • Post test results and examination findings as required.
  • Provide patients and their families with medication instructions, health education, and recommendations for community resources.
  • Collaborate with physicians to manage acute and long-term patient needs.
  • Ensure continuity of care between physician visits by providing monitoring and support.
  • Triage nursing and family calls, offering consultation when needed.

**Requirements:**

  • A minimum of three years of experience in patient care within a clinic setting, with two years of Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant experience preferred.
  • Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Certification as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse in Tennessee, or current licensure as a Physician Assistant in Tennessee.

**Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and employee wellness programs.
