Job SummaryWe are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide professional nursing care within our Emergency Department (ED) to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The successful candidate will coordinate care planning with other disciplines, provide direct and indirect patient care, and demonstrate initiative, flexibility, and responsibility indicative of professional expectation.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the delivery of care.
- Delegate patient care to other members of the healthcare team.
- Coordinate patient care and communicate extensively with the healthcare team, patients, and/or patient's family or significant other(s).
- Communicate with physicians about changes in patient status, symptomatology, and results of diagnostic studies.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
- Maintain and demonstrate high standards of professional ethics.
