Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Restaurant Barback Assistant to join our team. As a Barback Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our bars and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stock and rotate coolers and maintain the liquor room to ensure a well-stocked and organized bar area.
  • Assist bartenders during rushes by serving drinks and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
  • Consistently collect, wash, sanitize, and restock all glass and barware for repeated bartender use.
  • Efficiently and continuously re-stock bartender serving stations with liquor, ice, fruit, straws, and napkins as necessary for bartender use.
  • Perform general duties such as taking out trash, stocking restrooms, and complying with special requests set forth by management.
  • Execute weekly inventory of alcohol at all stations, liquor cage, walk-in cooler, and liquor room for the Bar Manager to place reorders.
  • Receive and back-stock weekly alcohol and supply deliveries into assigned and allocated areas of the bar.
  • Manage closing duties, including cleaning the entire bar area and back area, and prepare the bar for the next day's shift.

Requirements

  • Previous barback experience is preferred.
  • Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Compensation

Hourly pay (NY only) - $10.65 per hour plus tips. If your wage + tips does not equal at least minimum wage, your hourly pay will be adjusted to minimum wage.
