Credible is seeking a skilled Virtual Reality Innovation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our AR/VR development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing immersive experiences that push the boundaries of what is possible.

Job Description

As a Virtual Reality Innovation Specialist at Credible, you will work closely with our designers, engineers, and product teams to create engaging and interactive virtual reality applications for various industries, including entertainment, gaming, education, and healthcare.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement innovative VR applications using Unity or Unreal Engine game engines, ensuring seamless user interaction and environmental responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with 3D artists to optimize models, textures, and animations for smooth performance on VR devices, prioritizing high-quality visuals and real-time processing efficiency.
  • Implement user interaction features, such as gesture control, eye tracking, and haptic feedback, to enhance the user experience in virtual environments.
  • Design and refine user interfaces for VR applications that are intuitive, easy to navigate, and support user goals, working closely with designers to create effective interfaces in 3D spaces.
  • Ensure compatibility and optimization for various VR devices, including Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, HoloLens, and mobile VR platforms, troubleshooting platform-specific issues and maintaining a consistent experience across devices.
  • Conduct thorough testing to identify and fix bugs, performance issues, and interaction inconsistencies, iterating on user feedback to enhance the quality and engagement of VR applications.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging VR technologies, tools, and methodologies, bringing new ideas to the team and applying innovative techniques to stay at the forefront of VR development.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong background in software development, with expertise in game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine, as well as proficiency in C# (Unity) or C++ (Unreal Engine). You should also have experience with 3D modeling tools, animation principles, and user interaction design.

  • Familiarity with 3D modeling tools (e.g., Blender, Maya) and animation principles.
  • Experience in designing user interactions and integrating sensors, such as motion tracking and haptic feedback, for engaging experiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for optimizing performance and resolving platform-specific challenges in VR applications.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
