Job Summary

The Continuous Quality Improvement Coordinator will lead the development and implementation of monitoring systems, data management systems, and assessments to guide and interpret results for Early Childhood Development programs. This role will also provide evaluation direction and hands-on support to ongoing program evaluation projects, champion the use of learning from evaluation and other sources to strengthen ECD programs, and promote school readiness by preparing children and families for school and life success.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement monitoring systems, data management systems, and assessments to guide and interpret results for Early Childhood Development programs.
  • Provide evaluation direction and hands-on support to ongoing program evaluation projects.
  • Champion the use of learning from evaluation and other sources to strengthen ECD programs.
  • Promote school readiness by preparing children and families for school and life success.
  • Actively supervise children by sight and sound at all times and in all environments.
  • Maintain all health and safety regulations to create an optimum learning environment.
  • Facilitate health practices to keep children safe in the school bus, outdoor, and indoor environments.
Requirements
  • Baccalaureate degree in public policy, public administration, program evaluation, a social science discipline, or related field with significant coursework in research methods and statistics.
  • 5 years of experience developing and implementing, monitoring, and evaluation systems, program evaluation, administrative analysis.
  • Combination of technical, analytical, and managerial capabilities with a proven record of advanced data analysis knowledge and skills.
  • Experience working with low-income and culturally diverse children, families, and communities.
  • Passion and curiosity for data and how evidence informs practice in Early Childhood Development programs.
  • Strong capacity building, oral and written communication, and organizational skills.
  • Effective leadership, management/supervision, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient computer, software (e.g., Microsoft Office 365, Adobe), and web-based systems ability.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of early childhood development and/or HSPPS and Head Start Act.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English.
