Job Description:

The primary purpose of this role is to assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, educational/intellectual, cultural, physical, emotional, and spiritual programs for our residents. This includes following health, sanitary, and infection control policies, as well as maintaining established standards of practice set forth by our administration and Life Enrichment Policies and Procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of experience working with seniors in a recreational or social setting is preferred.
  • Must have knowledge of practical application of Life Enrichment skills, such as creative expression, music, group leadership, crafts, and leisure activities.
  • Activity Professional Certified or higher is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to communicate in English and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Must possess and demonstrate good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with supervisors, co-workers, and community staff in the performance of duties.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This estimate is based on national averages for Life Enrichment Program Assistants in the healthcare industry.
