Role Summary: In the capacity of a Cannabis Cultivation Specialist, you will be integral to the production of superior cannabis products. Your responsibilities will encompass various stages of the cultivation process, from initial planting through to the harvesting phase. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for cannabis cultivation, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining a tidy and efficient workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the planting, irrigation, and nutrition of cannabis plants.
- Monitor the health of plants, identifying any indications of pests, diseases, or nutrient shortages.
- Adhere strictly to cultivation protocols and standards to guarantee the highest quality yield.
- Support the execution of integrated pest management (IPM) strategies.
- Operate and maintain cultivation tools and machinery effectively.
- Harvest, trim, and package cannabis flowers in accordance with company specifications.
- Maintain comprehensive records of cultivation activities, including plant inventory and production statistics.
- Follow established operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to ensure a secure and efficient work environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance cultivation processes and meet production goals.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in cannabis cultivation is preferred.
- Understanding of cultivation methods, including irrigation, nutrition, and pruning techniques.
- Familiarity with various cannabis strains, genetics, and cultivation practices.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as necessary.
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and performing physically demanding tasks.
