Principal/Senior Principal Systems Test Engineer - General Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal/Senior Principal Systems Test Engineer - General Specialist to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our Test and Evaluation organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, procedures, and schedules to ensure the quality and reliability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development of acceptance test plans, test schedules, and test procedures.
  • Support and host test planning working groups.
  • Interface with design and analysis functions to develop test and test data requirements.
  • Coordinate test equipment and personnel requirements for safe and efficient execution of tests.
  • Provide test execution support and make real-time decisions regarding safety, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Participate in post-test data evaluation and discrepancy resolution.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Science, Technical, Engineering or Math (STEM)
  • A minimum of 5 years of engineering experience with a BS Degree, 3 years engineering experience with a MS degree in STEM Field, or 0 years with a PhD in STEM Field
  • Experience in a system test environment
  • Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher
  • Must have ability to obtain and maintain Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience that includes test planning, execution, and operations
  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance
  • Active Special Program Access (SAP)
What We Offer:

Northrop Grumman offers a competitive salary range of $97,500 - $146,300, with the potential for a discretionary bonus. We also provide a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
