Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal/Senior Principal Systems Test Engineer – Ground Test to join our team at Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of acceptance test plans, test schedules, and test procedures.
  • Support and host test planning working groups.
  • Interface with design and analysis functions to develop test and test data requirements.
  • Coordinate test equipment and personnel requirements for safe and efficient execution of tests.
  • Provide test execution support and make real-time decisions regarding safety, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Participate in post-test data evaluation and discrepancy resolution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Science, Technical, Engineering or Math (STEM)
  • A minimum of 5 years of engineering experience with a BS Degree, 3 years engineering experience with a MS degree in STEM Field, or 0 years with a PhD in STEM Field
  • Experience in a system test environment
  • Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher
  • Must have ability to obtain and maintain Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience that includes test planning, execution, and operations
  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance
  • Active Special Program Access (SAP)

Northrop Grumman offers a competitive salary range of $97,500 - $146,300, as well as a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
