HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital is seeking a skilled RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator Special Procedures to join our team. As a leader in patient care, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact and advance the practice of nursing.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care in the Special Procedures unit.
- Provide leadership to the nursing team during designated shifts.
- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
- Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
- Maintain and review patient records, including posting test and examination results.
Requirements
- Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or compact licensure.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
- ACLS required in certain units.
- PALS or ENPC required within 6 months of hire/transfer in specific units.
- CPI required within 3 months of hire/transfer in the Behavioral Health unit.
- Minimum 1 year RN experience in an acute care setting preferred.
