We are seeking a skilled Thai Interpreter to join our team at Language Link.
About the Role:
We require a fluent Thai speaker with strong verbal communication skills in both English and Thai.
State certification is a plus, but not required.
The ideal candidate will have experience with note taking and memory techniques, as well as a strong ability to interpret in a medical setting.
Professionalism and courtesy are essential for this role.
The successful candidate will be familiar with the consecutive interpretation process and have a strong passion for interpretation and customer service.
Knowledge of the interpreter Code of Ethics is also required.
At least 2 years of medical interpreting experience is necessary.
The candidate must be AB5 compliant and have a current Business License (CA and HI only).
What We Offer:
A competitive hourly rate of $60.00 per hour (subject to experience, training, education, and location).
A contract position with opportunities for growth and development.
