Medical Consultant I

This position is responsible for evaluating and interpreting medical reports, assessing applicants' functional abilities, and providing assessments of applicants' medical conditions. The Medical Consultant will work closely with the Disability Evaluation Services Administrator and other team members to ensure accurate and timely evaluations.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate and interpret medical reports to determine the extent of an applicant's disability
- Assess applicants' functional abilities and provide recommendations for accommodations
- Provide assessments of applicants' medical conditions and make recommendations for treatment
- Collaborate with the Disability Evaluation Services Administrator and other team members to ensure accurate and timely evaluations
- Doctoral degree in medicine or a related field
- Experience in disability evaluation and assessment
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
