Position Overview: The Meeting Production Specialist is a skilled professional with extensive experience in commercial audiovisual systems, capable of thriving with minimal supervision. This role demands a profound understanding of conference room AV systems and various virtual collaboration platforms, coupled with a practical insight into the challenges faced by clients in a hybrid meeting setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate leadership by managing tasks independently and proactively identifying areas requiring additional support.
  • Exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication skills, providing innovative and practical solutions to client needs while adapting to present viable alternatives.
  • Possess expertise in virtual meeting technologies, including webinars, with advanced troubleshooting capabilities, maintaining composure in a fast-paced government environment.
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of physical in-room conference systems, including troubleshooting AV racks, teleconference-VTC codecs, Creston/AMX, and related touch panel systems.
  • Oversee the creation, coordination, and maintenance of timelines from pre-meeting preparations through post-production activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or 8 years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Proficient in AV conference room system operations and signal flow.
  • Prior experience in a government setting is preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain public trust clearance.
  • Audio Visual Technician certification (AVT) must be achieved within 90 days of employment.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license is required.
  • Certified Technical Specialist (CTS) certification is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during the work shift.
  • Utilization of carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other equipment for moving items as necessary.
