Job Summary

The Vice President of Finance will provide leadership and direction to the Motors & Solutions finance team, serving as a key business partner to the Division SVP/GM. This role will oversee strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial close, financial analysis, SOX compliance, and enhancing internal controls and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a key business partner to the VP/GM, providing business and financial insights to support decision making at strategic and operational levels.
Recommend and lead new efforts to drive profitable organic growth, decrease trade working capital requirements, increase Return on Invested Capital, and optimize Free Cash Flows.
Ensure sound monthly reporting aligned with internal RRX policies and external regulatory requirements, including US GAAP, IFRS, and SOX.
Direct monthly forecasting process with 9 operating plants, as well as consolidation and corporate reporting.
Ownership of annual budget process, working with plant controllers and division leadership to set direction and establish financial targets.
Oversee 3-Year Strategy Planning process, coordinating with Commercial, Engineering, and Operations functions to present to ELT and create long-term financials.
Participate in financial analysis for contract negotiations, capital expenditures, and product investment decisions.
Drive continuous improvement and reduce cycle time in various reoccurring financial processes through technology and efficiency measures.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of relevant and progressive accounting/finance experience.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment with multi-site responsibility required.
Excellent communication skills, ability to establish a personal brand within the organization, and drive cross-functional collaboration.
Ability to connect and drive high-level strategic objectives, as well as dive into transactional detail to resolve questions or issues.
Strong working knowledge of ERP systems, experience with Oracle ERP system, SAP, Hyperion, and OneStream a plus.
