Respiratory Therapist Certified PRN Job Description

At TriCities Hospital, we are committed to delivering high-quality patient care with compassion and integrity. As a Respiratory Therapist Certified PRN, you will play a vital role in our team, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer therapy modalities as ordered by physician, performing all aspects of mechanical ventilators (initiation, operation, monitoring, etc) and arterial puncture and blood gas analysis.
  • Verify physician orders prior to therapy treatment.
  • Give thorough and accurate reports to oncoming staff at shift end.
  • Perform equipment rounds.
Requirements:
  • State Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
  • Respiratory Therapy Degree – AAS or BS.
  • One-year adult critical care experience.
  • Previous experience with mechanical ventilation, blood gas analysis, and oximetry.
