Job Description

This is a challenging role for an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to develop electro-mechanical microprocessor-based products for the critical environment airflow control industry. The ideal candidate must be proficient in analog and digital circuit design, capable of developing algorithms, and writing embedded programs that meet product functional design requirements.

The Electrical Project Engineer will develop the project schedule, coordinate project-related activities of team members (in-house and subcontractor), and ensure the product development effort progresses on schedule and within the prescribed budget.

The successful candidate will utilize computer-assisted engineering and design tools to perform engineering tasks thoroughly and efficiently. This includes developing test specifications, carrying out design verification testing, and ensuring design meets performance requirements imposed by the functional specification.

In addition, the Electrical Project Engineer will provide technical training and support to engineering, manufacturing, and sales personnel.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
  • Minimum of ten years' experience working in a manufacturing company in the capacity of product development and design of electronic and/or electro-mechanical microprocessor-based products
  • Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, MS Project, Visio Technical, Mathcad, Labview, Schematic Capture Software, PCB Layout Software, and Embedded Firmware Development Tools
  • Embedded Software Development using C, C++
  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging electronic-based products and systems
