Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain minutes from various meetings as directed by leadership.
- Coordinate with Plan Operations leaders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Manage daily correspondence for the Chief Operations Officer, including sorting and distributing mail.
- Prepare and distribute letters, mass mailings, memos, and reports for leadership.
- Produce documents and presentations, including complex charts and slide decks.
- Conduct research and analysis for confidential projects.
- Process documents related to payments and reimbursements.
- Assist in the creation of training materials and other documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure positive interactions with staff and vendors.
- Maintain organized administrative files.
- Engage in special projects and additional responsibilities as needed.
- Assist in preparing and tracking reports necessary for departmental functions.
- Generate periodic reports for management to monitor strategic initiatives.
- Uphold confidentiality standards in accordance with organizational policies and legal regulations.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of experience in an administrative support role.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with a focus on professional etiquette.
- Proficient in operating general office equipment and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities.
- Positive attitude and willingness to accept guidance.
- Must maintain a regular and punctual work schedule.
- Ability to work independently and exercise judgment in non-routine situations.
- Effective organizational and workload management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a medical or health plan setting.
- Typing skills of 45-60 wpm with high accuracy.
Working Conditions:
- Primarily indoor working environment.
- Sedentary role with occasional lifting of light objects.
Salary Range: $16.50 – $20.00 per hour
