Job Summary:
The Healthcare Call Center Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to Medi-Cal members, assisting with changing doctors, and handling requests for new ID cards and address changes. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to de-escalate conflicts, and have a quiet workspace at home to take calls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality customer service to Medi-Cal members via phone.
- Assist with changing doctors and handling requests for new ID cards and address changes.
- Check the status of prior authorizations and de-escalate conflicts.
- File grievances for members as needed.
Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Call Center experience: 6 months to 1 year.
- High volume call center experience.
- High-speed internet access.
- Quiet workspace at home to take calls.
- Good attendance: cannot miss more than 8 hours of training.
- Bilingual Spanish preferred.
- Strong typing skills.
- Strong computer skills.
