Job Summary:

The Healthcare Call Center Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to Medi-Cal members, assisting with changing doctors, and handling requests for new ID cards and address changes. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to de-escalate conflicts, and have a quiet workspace at home to take calls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality customer service to Medi-Cal members via phone.
  • Assist with changing doctors and handling requests for new ID cards and address changes.
  • Check the status of prior authorizations and de-escalate conflicts.
  • File grievances for members as needed.

Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Call Center experience: 6 months to 1 year.
  • High volume call center experience.
  • High-speed internet access.
  • Quiet workspace at home to take calls.
  • Good attendance: cannot miss more than 8 hours of training.
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred.
  • Strong typing skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
