Donation Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Donation Specialist to join our team at Goodwill Northern New England. As a key member of our donation processing team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective processing of donations.

• Inspect and accept donations, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards
• Track and categorize donations, maintaining accurate records and reports
• Provide exceptional customer service to donors, responding to their inquiries and concerns
• Operate power equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Load and unload materials, ensuring timely and accurate processing of donations
• Process donations throughout the day, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency

• Mathematical and literacy skills, with the ability to accurately track and record donations
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Positive and friendly attitude, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Clear background check, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and respectful work environment

• Experience or certification in light manufacturing, processing, or warehouse work
• Thrift or used goods experience, with knowledge of processing and sorting procedures
• High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in math and reading skills
