Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Sedation Nurse to join our team at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. As a Pediatric Sedation Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to pediatric patients undergoing sedation procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and record patients' vital signs and medical information
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by a physician
  • Participate in procedures and use monitoring systems as needed
  • Modify treatment plans based on patients' responses and conditions
  • Direct and supervise less-skilled nursing personnel
  • Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess and implement patient care plans
Requirements
  • RN licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state
  • Current BLS certification
  • PALS and CPI certification required within 6 months of hire
  • Minimum of one year of pediatric ICU experience preferred
