Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Logistics Courier to join our team at NeoGenomics. As a Logistics Courier, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up specimens and other materials in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a vehicle to pick up and deliver specimens and other materials to designated locations
  • Perform route audits and quality assurance checks to ensure accurate and timely delivery
  • Maintain knowledge of multiple routes to back up assigned drivers
  • Communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, and the public
  • Ensure all specimens are collected accurately and on time
  • Maintain required records and documentation of all items received and delivered
  • Report to work on time and follow attendance guidelines
  • Keep vehicle area neat and clean, and dispose of biohazard containers as scheduled
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years previous driving experience preferred
  • Prior medical courier experience and prior customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to read a map and read and write English
  • Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
  • Ability to sit during shift, excluding meal and rest period
  • Ability to move and lift 50 pounds and maneuver packages of any weight above 50 pounds with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person
  • Good customer service skills required
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel desired
