Job DescriptionHow you'll make a difference
As a Registered Nurse (RN) at US Renal Care, you will play a vital role within a collaborative team, working under the guidance of a Charge Nurse while supervising Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) in the care of patients living with kidney disease.
What you'll be responsible forPatient Care: You will engage directly with patients to provide safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis treatment. Responsibilities include conducting and documenting physical assessments before and after treatments and monitoring patients throughout the treatment process.
You will ensure quality renal care by performing monthly reviews of patient medication profiles and administering medications as per physician directives.
Team Collaboration: You will be an essential member of an interdisciplinary team responsible for all necessary patient assessments and care planning activities.Additionally, you will ensure that center staffing requirements are consistently met under the direction of the Administrator and in accordance with state regulations regarding staffing ratios.
Safety & Quality:Under the supervision of a Charge Nurse, you will comply with all company policies and procedures as well as state and federal laws and regulations.
You will participate in all mandatory staff meetings and continuing education sessions.
What we seek
Current nursing license in the applicable state.
Ability to distinguish all primary colors.
One or more years of relevant nursing experience preferred.
Previous experience in dialysis nursing is preferred.
