About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Prime Air navigation team at Amazon. As a Prime Air Navigation Expert, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced navigation algorithms and software, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and identifying innovative technological opportunities.


Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement advanced navigation algorithms and software
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture and requirements
  • Conduct research to identify innovative technological opportunities
  • Lead the development of flight algorithms and software

Requirements:
  • PhD or Master's degree with 6+ years of applied research experience
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
  • Experience implementing algorithms using toolkits and self-developed code
  • Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full life cycle
