About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Electrical Hardware Development Engineer to join our team at Amazon Prime Air. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing power electronics hardware and related electrical power systems for our drones. Your expertise will enable us to deliver safe, efficient, and reliable drone operations. We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop power electronics hardware and analog/digital devices components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy new hardware and electrical power systems for Prime Air Drones.
  • Support hardware development, manufacturing, and testing through collaborations with internal and external vendors.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, 4+ years of experience in developing power electronics, and proficiency in software tools such as Spice, PLECS, Mathcad, Ansys Simplorer, and Matlab. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, experience working with commercial standards (DO-254, DO-160G, DO-178), and knowledge of FEA simulation tools like Ansys Maxwell/Q3D or equivalent.
