The Senior Director of Commercial Operations is a key leadership role within our organization, responsible for driving strategic initiatives and optimizing internal operations to enhance business performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategy and Roadmap: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for the evolution of all functions within Business Intelligence and Operations (BI&O) to modernize and innovate for competitive advantage.
- Strategy, Priorities, Scorecard, and KPIs: Lead the creation of a cohesive BI&O-wide strategy and 3-year roadmap of key capabilities and priorities, working with leadership to develop a scorecard and identify appropriate KPIs for measurement.
- Impact and Resource Management: Be responsible for the efficient utilization of resources across teams, identifying optimizations in internal-external resource ratios to drive sustainable impact, and owning critical skills while outsourcing routine tasks.
- Annual Planning and Budget Tracking: Lead the annual planning cycle efforts across BI&O, working closely with Finance to manage and achieve budget.
- Process Improvement and Innovation: Own the continuous process improvement capability, working across teams to identify and implement solutions to improve ways of working, find efficiencies, or remove non-value-added work and processes.
- Drive Strategic Projects: Own dashboards, timelines, and project management for specific strategic projects on an ad-hoc basis.
- Team Engagement and Development: Plan and execute forums and agenda topics to engage various levels of the team, ensuring large-scale development topics are addressed in a cohesive engagement and development plan.
- Day-to-Day Strategy, Information Flow, and Communications: Be a trusted strategic partner to the SVP of BI&O, proactively highlighting business-critical risks and opportunities, and planning/overseeing critical organizational, financial, and operational activities.
- 15+ years' experience in strategy and operations consulting and/or leading large and complex programs and initiatives in Healthcare, Life sciences, Pharma, or Biotech.
- Strong operational skills; project management capabilities.
- Experience in commercial pharma operations heading up a portfolio.
- Expertise in omnichannel.
- Excellent written and oral storytelling and communication skills.
- Data and metrics-driven and strong data analysis and budget management acumen.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead and influence in the matrix and cultivate strong internal/external networks.
- Experience with Patient Services.
- Demonstrated track record of excellence and rapid growth, with an ability to balance multiple priorities.
