About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Plant Operator to join our team at Ingevity. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient production of high-quality chemicals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain chemical processing equipment to meet production targets and quality standards.
  • Monitor and control process variables to ensure optimal product quality and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve process issues and implement improvements.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of chemical processing principles and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
