Senior Project Manager Position

Flawless Steel Welding, a leading AISC Fabricator and Erector, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee specific projects within the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for directing, coordinating, and implementing projects in alignment with the company's strategy and goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify contract scopes, drawings, specs, and addendums for accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate with General Contractors to move projects forward and ensure timely completion.
  • Manage projects from award through detailing, fabrication, and erection, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Identify and request necessary information from Architects and Engineers to ensure project alignment.
  • Coordinate with other trades, suppliers, and sub-contractors to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Schedule production delivery of materials and oversee erection, ensuring quality and safety standards.
  • Lead project team meetings and set clear expectations for project success.
  • Resolve Jobsite problems and issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Price and issue change order requests, ensuring accurate and timely billing.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Submit and follow up on Transmittals, ensuring project documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Report on project progress and offer solutions as needed, ensuring project success.
  • Knowledge of TeklaPowerFab and Bluebeam Software is required for project management and coordination.
Authority and Qualifications:

The Project Manager has the authority to write and submit change orders, as well as start and stop production processes to meet deadlines and ensure project success.

  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • High competency in Microsoft Office applications, including project management software.
  • Strong communication, negotiating, networking, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Results-oriented and detail-oriented, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Teamwork and judgment skills required, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within set budgets, timelines, and scopes, ensuring project success and customer satisfaction.
