Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team at Albany Medical Center. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will play a critical role in providing nutrition care and counseling to HIV-infected clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive nutrition care plans for patients with HIV, including those with wasting syndrome, lipodystrophy, and other related conditions.
  • Conduct thorough nutritional assessments and provide education and counseling to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Supervise dietetic students and coordinate with external nutrition programs as needed.
  • Participate in eligibility determination and recertification processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nutrition or related field, Master's degree preferred.
  • Registered Dietitian with the ADA.
  • 1-3 years of documented experience in outpatient nutrition services to medically compromised patient populations.
  • Fluency in written and oral English, Spanish a plus.
