As a Senior SLP with Language Fundamentals, you will:
  • Lead collaborative efforts with PT/OT, nursing staff, physicians, and dietitians to address the complex needs of residents.
  • Design and oversee short-term rehabilitation plans to support residents' functional return home.
  • Implement and refine restorative therapy programs to enhance long-term residents' quality of life.
  • Provide guidance and support to families and staff regarding patient after-care programs.
  • Work within the Patient Driven Payment Model Reimbursement System.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Provide FEES examinations independently in the local region (Will provide training for the right candidate)
  • Serve as a mentor to new SLPs and Clinical Fellows, promoting the use of evidence-based practices.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of speech therapy services through collaboration and innovative approaches.
  • Directly report to company leadership

Requirements

Requirements:

•Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology (SLP) therapy program

•Current State licensure as a CCC-SLP

•Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

•Goal oriented approach with ability to utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills

•Ability to utilize technology to perform electronic documentation
