We are a prominent television station serving the Orlando community and are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a full-time Broadcast Systems Maintenance Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance and installation of digital broadcasting equipment, including ENG systems, field gear, studio systems, servers, automation, and broadcast computer hardware.
  • Oversee building systems such as HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
  • Engage in a dynamic and fast-paced news and production environment.

Requirements:

  • Possession of a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Availability to work weekends, nights, holidays, and on short notice as required.
  • Reports directly to the Director of Technology.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in broadcasting is not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with mechanical and electrical building systems is essential.
  • Knowledge of satellite RF systems, digital and analog broadcasting equipment, non-linear editing systems, and ENG technical operations is advantageous.
  • A strong background in high-power RF transmitters is beneficial but not a requirement.
  • Ability to utilize and operate electronic testing equipment for diagnosing and measuring electronic signals.
  • A minimum of 2 years of technical school, military training, or college education is preferred.
