Job Summary

The Rhode Island Blood Center is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Hospital Services Representative/Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of blood components to hospitals and medical facilities throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, select, package, and arrange delivery for blood components
  • Manage inventory control methods, including updating computer records and storing blood products in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures
  • Process customer orders, verify accuracy, and make outgoing telephone calls to maximize utilization of available inventory
  • Make timely deliveries to hospital blood banks, assist with verifying shipments and returns, and perform delivery/pick-up errands as requested
  • Provide exceptional customer service, display professionalism, and maintain a clean and neat appearance
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Valid driver's license with no moving traffic violations within the last 3 years
  • Ability to communicate clearly using a telephone
  • Ability to work a weekday schedule with every third weekend
Compensation

The proposed hourly wage for this position is $20.00/hour.
