ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary:
The RN Clinical Educator plays a pivotal role under the guidance of the Service Area Manager of Clinical Education. This position is dedicated to enhancing staff development through education, consultation, facilitation, and leadership. The Clinical Educator is instrumental in improving the quality of care across the patient experience continuum, empowering staff with knowledge to achieve excellence in evidence-based nursing practices and clinical competencies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Facilitating the educational process through assessment, development, planning, implementation, and evaluation of competency assessments and continuing education.
- Acting as a role model for professional behavior and fostering a climate of compassionate care.
- Collaborating with various entities across the service area to meet the diverse needs of the organization.

Preferred Background:
We are looking for candidates with a background in Perioperative/Surgical Services and acute care.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Current RN license in California
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- At least 1 year of experience in training or education
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- AHA Instructor credentials
- Experience as a Perioperative/OR educator
