Job Summary:

Sutter Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator III, Critical Care to coordinate and perform educational activities that promote the competency and development of Sutter Health's nursing staff.

The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of clinical nursing, including current trends, safety precaution policies, equipment, electronic healthcare records (EHR) management software, accrediting agency standards, and local/state/federal regulations.

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating nursing educational programs in response to health care demands, trends, identified learning needs, department goals, quality improvement measures, risk management, regulatory changes, and compliancy criteria.

The Clinical Nurse Educator III, Critical Care will design educational offerings (courses, simulations, programs) using processes and methodologies that incorporate the principles of adult education and learning styles.

Key qualifications include a graduate degree in nursing, a current RN license in California, and certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CNOR.

The successful candidate will possess excellent written and public speaking skills, with the ability to clearly and professionally explain medical, technical, or sensitive information to diverse audiences.
