Job Summary

We are seeking a certified surgical technologist to join our team at Providence Swedish First Hill Campus. As a travel certified surgical technologist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with a talented team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments
  • Ensure a safe and sterile environment for patients
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures
  • Float to other Swedish Health Services units and/or campuses as needed
Requirements
  • National Certification Required: NBSTSA
  • Active WA license required
  • Will consider less than 2 years of experience and first-time travelers with the right experience
  • Experience needed in General Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Colorectal Surgery, Podiatry, ENT, Dental, Peds, Plastics, Maxillofacial, Gynecology, Thoracic, Bariatric, Pulmonary, Urology, Vascular, Endovascular / Hybrid, Transplant (Liver, Kidney)
  • Skills required in Ambulatory OR, Teaching Hospital, Trauma (PREFERRED); General OR, Bariatrics, Endo/Laparoscopic, ENT, Plastics, Podiatry, Thoracic, Transplant, Urology, Vascular, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Carotid Endartectomy, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, Scrub (REQUIRED)
Work Schedule

Three weeknight call shifts 11p-7a and three weekend call shifts 7a-7p or 7p-7a per 6 week schedule. Call response time is 30 minutes from being called.
