Job Title: Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team at the University of Washington Medical Center. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Perform scrub role, maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring patient safety throughout the perioperative process.
  • Support post-operative tasks, including removal of contaminated instruments, decontamination, sterilization, and turnover of the operating room.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a Surgical Technologist program and one year of experience assisting clinical staff in a variety of operative procedures in an operating room environment.
  • Registered by the State of Washington as a Surgical Technologist or licensed in the State of Washington as a Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse, or Physician.
