Automation Engineer Position

Concentric Integration is seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, fabricating, programming, installing, commissioning/testing, and supporting primarily Water/Wastewater control systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide conceptual design, solutions, and product specifications per end-user requirements.
  • Develop and implement in-house PLC/OIT/HMI programming and testing.
  • Perform onsite work for municipal clients, including instrumentation configuration, installation assistance, and control system and process start-up/testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports.
Requirements:
  • Relevant Engineering or Technology degree from an ABET-accredited program.
  • 5+ years' experience as an Electrical/Controls Engineer performing design, programming, installation, and startup tasks.
  • 5+ years' experience programming Allen-Bradley Logix platform PLC's.
  • 5+ years' experience with fieldwork (panel wiring, startup, and emergency support/troubleshooting).
  • 5+ years' experience with SCADA software development (FactoryTalk View SE, Ignition, Wonderware, VTSCADA, or iFix).
  • 3+ years' experience programming Allen-Bradley PanelView or other manufacturer touch screens.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong networking/computer skills, literacy, & proficiency.
  • Advanced computer and/or networking skills.
  • Excellent oral, written, & digital communication skills.
  • Effective organizational skills for productive tasks and time management.
  • Ability to regularly undertake self-development (learning) activities to stay technically sharp.
