Job Summary
The Shift Supervisor is accountable to the Operations Manager. The primary responsibilities of this role encompass, but are not limited to, the following:
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for the client regarding security-related inquiries or requests.
- Serve as the next point of authority following the shift supervisor.
- Oversee scheduling, including managing requests and approved time off.
- Handle payroll, including addressing discrepancies.
- Manage invoicing, ensuring accuracy before submission to the client.
- Monitor attendance, disciplinary actions, vacation/time off requests, absence notifications, and compliance.
- Review supervisor end-of-shift reports and officer daily activity reports.
- Facilitate document scanning into the shared drive.
- Process terminations and all related documentation.
- Manage requisitions, conduct interviews, and guide candidates through the hiring process.
- Oversee uniform and equipment requests.
- Provide job training.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (BSIS, CA, healthcare, etc.).
- Meet with department heads as required.
- Participate in monthly EOC meetings and quarterly business reviews.
- Conduct investigations, including collecting written statements.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed for workers' compensation.
- Maintain up-to-date Post Orders.
- Engage in frequent communication with all supervisors.
Requirements
- Proficient in technology, particularly with the MS Office Suite.
- Familiarity with technology-driven scheduling platforms is advantageous.
- Experience in project management.
- Skilled in leading teams through complex problem-solving scenarios.
- Strong customer service orientation is essential.
- Able to interact effectively within a corporate environment and communicate with all management levels.
- Must demonstrate flexibility and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Exemplary time-management, organizational, and multitasking abilities are required.
- A reliable team player with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.

Qualifications
- Preferred candidates possess either an honorable military discharge, a Bachelor's degree, or five years of experience in operations management and project management roles.
- Ability to independently create reports, spreadsheets, diagrams, charts, graphs, and other necessary documents (e.g., MS Word, Excel, Access, SharePoint).
- Understanding of security operations and contract management is preferred.
- Familiarity with operational KPIs and the ability to leverage data to enhance operations.
- Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on teamwork.
- Experience in a supervisory role within a general office setting is preferred.
- Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced, and occasionally stressful environment.
