About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician Torque Analyst to join our team at Caterpillar. As a key member of our Quality Assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of our torque control tooling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform inspection and documentation of torque control tooling fit and function
  • Respond to shop calls to inspect, repair, and replace torque tooling that is not meeting Engineering specification for torque
  • Process dealer returned material
  • Perform correlation audits with suppliers
  • Rework nonconforming material to support assembly
Requirements
  • Gaging experience
  • Quality experience
  • Engine knowledge
  • Print reading skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Basic knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic and electric tooling
Preferred Qualifications
  • Problem solving skills
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed to support production demands
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer-based focus
Physical Requirements
  • Lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs
  • Bend and twist at the waist and squat
  • Stand on concrete for 8+ hours
