Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead tasks and projects to achieve project objectives and address sponsor problems.
  • Develop and maintain complex system architectures using standards-based languages like SysML.
  • Evaluate and compare alternative architectures using qualitative and quantitative techniques.
  • Support requirements management, interface management, and architecture change management processes.
  • Translate analysis results into actionable recommendations for government agencies.
  • Analyze and organize sponsor data into MBSE SysML artifacts and elements.
  • Support the development of implementable strategies to address customer challenges with adoption of MBSE and associated tools.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
  • Seven years of position-specific experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of information technology, network infrastructure, or C6ISR systems.
  • Experience with SysML nomenclature and DoDAF.
  • Experience with MagicDraw, Cameo Systems Modeler, CATIA, or other system modeling tools.
  • Strong written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • OCSMP SysML or INCOSE certifications.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Object-Oriented Systems Engineering Method (OOSEM).
  • Ability to work in a distributed team environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of software-intensive systems or information communication technology (ICT) systems.
  • Experience modeling or simulating systems within DoD domains.
  • Experience with MATLAB, AFSIM, SIMDIS, or similar modeling and simulation tools.
Clearance Requirements:
  • Must possess an active SECRET clearance.
Physical Requirements:
  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
