Job Summary

Concentra is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist and Medical Support Specialist to join our team. As a vital member of our patient care team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, escort them to dressing and x-ray rooms, and provide verbal and/or written instructions.
Operate radiologic equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes, position equipment, and adjust controls according to examination specifications.
Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to ensure patient and team member safety.
Maintain radiologic equipment, report malfunctions, and ensure all Radiology workflows are followed.
Assist providers during examinations and treatments, perform routine medical procedures, and triage emergent patients as needed.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology and applicable certification by the state in which employed.
Registered with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and has active and valid certification.
CPR/First Aid Certification

Preferred Qualifications

Customarily has at least six months or more of medical assistant experience with knowledge of medical procedures and medical terminology.
Working knowledge of occupational medicine requirements (state specific) is preferred with prior medical office, healthcare, and/or customer service-related experience.
