Job Title: Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at the University of Kentucky's Gill Heart Institute. As a key member of our cardiac cath lab team, you will be responsible for assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians during cardiac cath and EP procedures
  • Operate medical imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines
  • Monitor and record hemodynamic measurements and readings
  • Provide excellent patient care and communication
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
  • AS degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a cardiac cath lab or related field
  • ARRT registration and Kentucky radiation operator certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Cardiac cath/EP experience
  • McKesson, EPIC, Qsight, Intellispace, and Microsoft Office proficiency
