Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team at ReMed, a Collage Rehabilitation Partner. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to adults with brain injury in our residential programs located in Pennsylvania.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide minimum to maximum assistance and/or supervision to promote clients' success in daily living tasks, recreational activities, and vocational pursuits.
- Assist clients with personal care and hygiene, therapies, and driving and accompanying clients to appointments, activities, and other outings.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients, promoting their independence and autonomy.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- A minimum of a HS Diploma or GED is required.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Diplomas from non-U.S. educational institutions must include professional documentation/evaluation that the non-U.S. educational program is equivalent to or exceeds U.S. educational requirements; documentation is required prior to becoming an employee.
