As a member of the Right at Home team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our clients in their residences. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain a safe and clean environment, performing various housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and companionship activities.
Key Responsibilities- Adhere to Right at Home policies and procedures.
- Perform homemaking activities, including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, laundry, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Prepare meals and snacks for clients according to their instructions and your supervisor's guidance.
- Provide companionship for clients, including accompanying them on walks, trips to social/recreational activities, and assistance with hobbies.
- Document services provided in writing.
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, feeding, lifting, transferring, and other personal care tasks.
- High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
- Successful completion of a written Competency Evaluation.
- Sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick and ability to deal effectively with job demands.
- Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
- Valid driver's license and use of an insured automobile for work or access to adequate transportation.
Primarily works in client's place of residence, travel required. Shift times and days vary with client needs.
