About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Technician III to join our team at Johns Hopkins HealthCare. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the surgical team in preparing patients for surgery, including setting up equipment and ensuring a safe and sterile environment.
  • Provide perioperative care to patients, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications as needed.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a certified surgical technician program preferred.
  • Current certification as an Operating Room Technician III or equivalent required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
