We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Technologist III to join our team at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, MD. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our Main Operating Room.

About the Role:

As a Surgical Technologist III, you will be responsible for assisting the surgical team before, during, and after surgery with the perioperative care of the surgical patient. You will work closely with our experienced surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses to provide top-notch care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the surgical team with patient preparation, positioning, and draping
  • Pass instruments and supplies to the surgeon during procedures
  • Monitor and maintain a safe and clean operating room environment
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of a certified surgical technician program
  • Graduate of ORT school
  • Certification by the Association of Surgical Technologists is preferred for OR Tech II role. Certification is required for OR Tech III role.
  • BLS certification required

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary range: $26.67 - $44.00 per hour
  • Full-time, 36-hour per week schedule
  • 7a - 7:30p shift
