Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues to resolve maintenance issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication of tools and equipment.
  • Conduct visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machines to identify potential issues.
  • Carry out tasks that require physical effort, including lifting and carrying equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certificate in HVAC/refrigeration or electrical preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in general maintenance, electrical, or refrigeration; hotel engineering/maintenance experience a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require lifting, carrying, and bending.
