Environmental Services Technician

Job Summary
The Environmental Services Technician is a vital member of the PinnacleHealth team, responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment within our healthcare facilities. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect patient rooms, common areas, and equipment to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working order and properly stored.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or concerns to management, and take steps to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of patient care and services.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest cleaning and disinfection protocols, as well as infection control best practices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 year of experience in healthcare environmental services or a related field.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment and supplies.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
