The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Planner III to join our team in Austin, San Antonio, and Houston, TX offices. As a key member of our Transportation Planning practice, you will work on a wide range of projects, from managed toll lanes to complex interchanges and major roadway designs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead transportation planning projects, including data collection, analysis, and mapping using ArcGIS Pro.
  • Develop innovative solutions to clients' problems, leveraging your expertise in transportation planning and engineering.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
  • Support business development efforts by identifying new clients and opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in transportation planning/engineering, with at least 7 years of experience performing transportation planning activities.
  • Proficiency in ArcGIS, Microsoft Office, and graphic design programs (e.g., Adobe Illustrator).
  • Strong writing, presentation, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and quality control.
  • Business acumen, facilitation skills, and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
