Job SummaryThe Medical Director is responsible for overseeing the quality of care provided to patients, ensuring alignment with Callen-Lorde's mission and applicable mandates. This includes providing direct clinical care to a panel of primary care patients living with HIV.
Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and vision to Callen-Lorde's primary care service
- Collaborate with the CMO to ensure high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement strategies to improve quality and safety of care
- Lead the professional, organizational, and administrative aspects of clinical services
- Demonstrated expertise in primary care and experience working with diverse patient populations
- Strong leadership and management skills, with ability to work collaboratively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze complex healthcare issues and develop effective solutions
